Dr Jones combines a passion for teaching with a keen interest in applying Digital Innovation in Primary Care. He is a dual Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr Emina Gunic

Dr Gunic graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and has nine years’ experience in both hospital medicine and general practice.
She has a passion for providing excellent patient care and teaching to trainees and medical students at the practice. Dr Gunic is caring, compassionate and enjoys managing both acute and chronic conditions and providing continuity of care for her patients.
Dr Anoushka Dawda

Dr Dawda graduated from Norwich Medical School in 2019, after earning a first- class degree in Neuroscience from Kings College London in 2018. She completed her foundation training in the Oxford deanery and GP training in West Hertfordshire. Dr Dawda is dedicated to providing high-quality care with empathy and kindness. She values making patients feel comfortable and heard. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, travelling, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr Pratheesh Puvanagopan

Dr Puvanagopan graduated from Barts and the London in 2014 and has been a GP since 2019. He has worked in various GP surgeries around the UK. He has a passion for teaching trainees and medical students, holistic medicine and promoting self care. He generally wants patients to feel comfortable in the surgery and to empower themselves to get better. He enjoys going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
Helena Krantz
RGN 1986 Middlesex, BSc (Hons) NMPNurse
Helena Krantz qualified from the Middlesex Hospital. Initially she worked in gastroenterology, and then ICU and cardiology. Helena has been working in general practice since 1989 and enjoys partnering with patients to provide holistic care. She holds diplomas in Diabetes, Asthma and COPD and has additional clinical interest in travel medicine, sexual and reproductive health and health promotion. Helena is also an independent prescriber. When not working, Helena enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dog, and is also working to complete a PG Diploma in Advanced Nursing Practice.
Patrice Dodoo

Nurse Patrice qualified as an Adult Nurse from Middlesex University 2008. She worked in community nursing for 9 years.
She took the next step in her career and went into General Practice Nursing.
She joined the Penshurst Gardens Surgery in 2017 where she completed the General Nurse Practice Programme in 2018 and has never looked back.
She has also completed the nurse assessor training and is involved with teaching and assessing nursing students.
Nurse Patrice has a keen interest in promoting the health and wellbeing of all the patients she encounters by exploring healthy lifestyle options and changes which work best for the patients.
Apart from general nursing duties, she does baby immunisations, smears, travel health and ear irrigations.
Bhavana Patel
Nursing Associate
Bhavana Patel worked as a Health Care Assistant for 3 years. She qualified from Middlesex University in 2023 as a nursing associate. She collaborates and provides clinical support to the Doctors and Nursing team. As well as undertaking general nursing duties, Bhavana runs the phlebotomy clinics, health checks, foot checks, and also the smoking cessation support.
GP Registrars are fully qualified Doctors join the practice for a period of 6 months and up to a year working under supervision from the GP Trainer at Penshurst Gardens.
Rakhee Hindocha
MRPHARMS 2006, DeMontfortClinical Pharmacist
After qualifying from De Montfort University in 2006 and completing her Pre-reg, Rakhee began a career in community pharmacy spanning 16 years. In that time, Rakhee gained a range of experience working mostly as manger in both a community and field setting. In 2018, Rakhee successfully gained her qualification as a prescribing pharmacist and specialises in hypertension in type 2 diabetes. Rakhee has since then expanded her scope of practice and also specializes in contraception, asthma and depression. In her spare time, Rakhee enjoys family time especially with her little boy, reading and walking.
Azhr Hassan

Graduated with Honours in 2010 from Medway School of Pharmacy and obtained prescribing qualifications in 2014. An accomplished clinical pharmacist with years of experience within various clinical settings attending to acute medical queries and chronic illness management and more.
An honoured member of the Penshurst Gardens Surgery team joined July 2020.
Pre-Reg Pharmacist Trainees
We have Pre-registration Pharmacists who are trained by our Clinical Pharmacists.
Teaching practice
Medical Students from Imperial, Kings College, Royal Free Hospital & UCL visit our practice as part of their medical training.
Our Pre-Registration Pharmacists are supervised by our in-house Pharmacists.
We also have Physician Associates (PAs) trainees who are health professionals in training with generalist medical education who work within the medical model. They are trained to perform a range of tasks including: taking medical histories, performing examinations, diagnosing illnesses and medical conditions, and requesting and analyzing test results. They are supervised by the Doctors in the practice.
Primary Care Network 4 (PCN4)
We are part of PCN4, a group of four practices who work closely together.
PCN4 has an excellent Multi-disciplinary team of Clinical Pharmacists, First Point Contact Physiotherapists (FCPs), Health & Wellbeing Coaches, Social Prescribers , Care Co-ordinators & Mental Health Practitioners.
We offer additional appointments to our patients with the PCN4 multi-disciplinary team.
